David Myers' comme Ça presents traditional Parisian brasserie fare in a modern setting. Inspired by the neighborhood restaurants of France, comme Ça offers a lively environment where guests can indulge in French classics such as Steak Frites with Sauce Béarnaise, Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée and Salade Frisée aux Lardons. Selections from the raw bar and unique cheeses from France and America are also available. In addition to comme Ça's four signature drinks, Prohibition-era styl... read more

Worth the Ringing Ears – Usually the trending "it" resturants turn me off since it mostly comes down to a public relations firm creating the buzz rather than the quality of the food and chef. Comme Ca has quality food and a quality chef. The ingredients are world class provisions which add to the flavor. As spectacular as the menu reads, ask the server. They are well trained and know the pedigre of the food. You best bet may be to give the server a category such as beef, dried meats, fish and let them bring you what the chef... read more
Good Times!!!!!!!!!! – We were there on Friday night and had a great time. The reviews mention loud and they are absolutely correct. It is very loud but we really enjoy the vibe that the noise created but that is us. The coq au vin and pork chop was amazing. The pork chop melted in my mouth. The service was very friendly. He was there for our every needs. Reading some of the review about the bar and I own a bar. I thought the drinks were amazing. Watching the bartender was interesting with the chip ice and the precious with ... read more
PAS COMME CA ! – Went there on Saturday night, no reservation, so of course had to wait at the bar, we knew that and actually were looking forward to it. Beeing there on couple occasion, we had the chance to try some of Sammy's drink from "Milk and Honey" After few minutes trying to get the attention of the "Mixologist", we finally ordered drinks. Drinks were okay, but nothing special like they were before, we then decide to eat at the bar and sat as soon as two seats were available. After 10 minutes without any attention, t... read more
Pretty good ... – The mixed reviews are very telling. The place is basically a mixed review. Seating could be more comfortable, drinks could be larger (and less expensive) and the steak could definitely be more tender. What's good--the bread, a mini baquette, warm and tasty and a small serving dish of cold whipped delicious butter. And the French onion soup, very very delicious. Worth going for these two items, and the drinks if you don't mind paying too much for a small amount (laughably small glasses). But they are tasty, ... read more
keep your sanity and $$$ and skip this horrendous experience – I have never felt compelled to take the time to write a review. I read all the reviews prior to making my reservation and thought that all of the negative ones probably were probably written by some older customers.... well I was quite mistaken. The noise level in this restaurant is absolutely deafening to the point that within half and hour, you are ready to quit talking because the muscles in your jaw have gone on strike. Our table for 4 barely held 2 and the c... read more
Great Brunch, Dinner could be better – I've been frequenting Comme Ca since it opened and it's never disappointed. The service may be a little slow at times and the food almost always arrives late. I do however enjoy taking my time and drinking my wine and hate it when the food arrives too soon. The brunch has always been good, especially the steak and eggs, the burgers and the croque monsieur. Dinner hasn't always been a remarkable but still good. The skate is great. Avoid the soul meuniere. ok wine list.
Very good; not a traditional Brasserie – My wife and I ate at Comme Ca on Saturday night and enjoyed it. The restaurant provided a very nice atmosphere, and as transplanted New Yorkers, enjoyed the close seating and actually struck up a conversation with the couple next to us -- which is hard for people in LA to comprehend. The staff was great and service very good. The food was good. Our salads, 1 beet and 1 butter lettuce, were over seasoned (too much salt). My steak frites was fantastic, keeping with a traditional brasser... read more
read the bad reviews carefully... – ...they all sound something like this.."wahhhhhhhhh, 8 of us wanted to go the most popular place in town and the service was slow, wahhhhhhhh...and we didnt like the food either so there! nanny nanny nanny!" note to you idiots: if you want fast service try mcdonalds or a place w/ a "c" grade. you're like people who go to thte hottest nightclub and then complain about the lines and crowds...wahhhhhhhhh! the food at comme is without a dobt the best french in l.a. sit down, shut up and enjoy.
Nice little bistro – What a pleasant surprise! I admit I was a bit nervous eating here. On one hand, the official reviews of this place were pretty good; on the other hand, there were a bunch of mixed reviews complaining about service issues. I was glad, however, to bypass my concerns and give it a try. The bad reviews I read complained about having to wait, even with reservations, the high noise level, and the exorbitant valet. I came in on a Tuesday night and was seated right away. The server was very attentive and immedia... read more
