Don't Bother! – Although we were seated quickly given there was 8 of us, the service was atrocious. We had to literally wave the waitress down 3 or 4 different times after we had been sitting there for a solid 15 minutes with no drinks or appetizers ordered. Avoid this restaurant all nights of the week! – Never before has my group of foodies been treated so poorly. We have eaten at every popular restaurant in town and this place was the worst. We had reservations at 8pm for 7 people that we had made a couple weeks in advance. great food, nasty drinks! – After reading the review in Daily Candy, I took a trip with my friend to Comme Ca'. The decor was really great, not too stuffy or "LA", just comfortable and French with beautiful wood details. We had made a reservation and were seated immediately. When you first walk into the restaurant, the first thing that you notice is a NY style restaurant with great decor and a lively energetic ambience. We had to wait a few minutes for a table, so we sat at the Cheese Bar. The Cheese Bar is a must! Not just educational & entertaining but exquisitely delicious as well. Not worth the time or money – The seating wait is too long! It's very loud and the lighting is NOT flattering. Bad set up for waiting, bar is used as seating as well, so there is no place to have a drink, we actually had to go to restaurant across the street, which we should have stayed at because a drink took way too long to get , once we finally were seated and the food was salty and mediocre at best.
Don't see Comme Ca! – Had I known I was about to be served a salt lick I would have declined the 50 minute wait. The decor is not impressive ? I felt wood chips on the floor would have been appropriate for the pub-style interior. The bar has only a few seats and there is no space to have a drink while waiting for a table. If you want to smallest martini you?ll ever see order up!
A must to visit! – We were very eager to try this place since it opened. And what a great find! Great cocktails and food to die for. Excellent Steak Frites and skate cooked to perfection! Service very professional and friendly. It's casual and comfortable enough to relax and enjoy. An overall delightful experience and I will definitely return for more!
wonderful experience – We were there on sat. nite. It was packed and loud. There was a long wait for our table. The drinks at the bar was great so it made the wait go by faster. The food was tasty snd service was very friendly. Great atmosphere. If you do not like loud lively atmosphere, take the five o'clock reservation.
Great wine and cheese – Delicious mussels, wonderful frou frou $$$$ drinks, phenomenal profiteroles, nice cheese man, handsome investors.
