Good food, good service but stuffy patrons – My wife and I finally got to try Comme Ca on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were seated very quickly and ordered oysters, the charcuterie dish and a Croque Madame sandwich. The oysters were super fresh and the Croque Madame had just the right amount of ham and cheese. Brasserie at its best – Went on saturday night. It was jam packed withe people. I felt like that in I was in Paris. The food was very tasty. Service was very warm and friendly. What a great atmosphere to have a meal in. People were mingling with the table next to them. Everyone around seem to really enjoying themselves!!!!!!
trendy, fun environment, decent food – I have gone to Comme Ca now two different times: one time for brunch and one time for dinner. Both times I liked it but I did not love it. The ambience is fun, trendy, and good-looking. Some of the food was great, other items on the menu were just okay. For brunch, the croque madam was good, quiche was ok. mushroom risotto is heaven, seating arrangement is so so – The waiting area is really a drag. There was absolutely no place for me to go until my friend arrived - bar was packed and waiters were hustling through the hallway. We had an inattentive waitress. DO NOT EAT HERE – Alas, I should have read these reviews before we went on a Saturday night. Mussels/frites were wonderful and there it ended. The duck confit and the skate were almost inedible. The duck was soggy and smelled gamey and the skate was cold and dried up and inadequately sauced. Both had been highly recommended by the waiter. Great time and atmosphere!!!!! – We went on a wednesday. The place was jam pack and full of life. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming. We started at the bar with cocktail which is the best in the city. The menu was simple brasserie style food but with tremendous flavor. The paleron and mac-cheese was awesome. The service was friendly and attentive. Nothing to complain about. A great restaurant to go and have great food and fun time.

Don't Comme Here! – Three of my friends and I just had the worst dining experience at Comme Ca. The food started off somewhat good with an excellent squid dish and average salad dishes. The onion soup was too salty and we could only have a couple spoonfuls before we had to put the spoon down and reach for the water. The bread was excellent but they apparently don't bake it themselves. Impressive... – We had a reservation, but still had to wait about 20 minutes. However, the manager came over several times to check on us and was extremely cordial. The bartender was fantastic - drinks were amazing, our group of 5 waited patiently. It makes a huge difference when someone is at least checking on you.
