Bought a used vehicle about 6 months ago and just want to ask what the $699.00 dealer prep actually "preps"? First off, we where on our way home to OP and the tire pressure light came on. Apparently the technicians changed a tire and didn't check system. Another SAFETY system that was missed during prep was the airbags! We rear ended another vehicle at 50 MPH and the AIRBAGS failed to deploy! We had no light indication of any problem prior to the accident. Excellent service. I did a lot of shopping around and I can honestly say they took care of me.
I have waited a year for my Toyota's airbag to be fixed. A recall letter was sent to me five weeks ago. However, the service department will not even take calls concerning this recall. They have someone take a message and state that a scheduler will contact you soon. Four calls, yet no response. I have left messages on Facebook and even talked to someone on FB messenger yesterday who claimed a manager would call me. Still nothing. All for a known defect/recall. Amazing experience today. I'm on the road and was due our next service. I had some challenges in booking the appointment but because I'm on the road I hoped for the best.
