DON'T GO THERE! I have never been to a vet hospital that made you feel like you were stupid and did everything wrong. My dog had puppies, and one little one was failing, so we had to go to the emergency clinic. Later we found out, from our regular vet, that she probably defecated in the sack and aspirated so her lungs were full of fluid. Cobb EVC vets never asked the questions to get to the problem. They put a tube in her and sucked it out to show me. Then the vet insinuated that I fed the puppy something I shouldn't have. I... read more
Horrible place Horrible care received here twice. My first pet arrived there with seizures. In the span of 30 hours, the "vets" administered "care" that totalled $2,300, and then euthanized my dog. I was forced to got there again on July 4, 2011. My tiny chihuahua was ill. The "vet" took 10 minutes with me to hand me pain medications and charge me $136.00. When I followed up with my primary care vet, my dog underwent emergency surgery. When I called Cobb Emergency vet to report that my dog had been misdiagnosed and that I wo... read more
Calming and thorough in an emergency I brought my cat in one evening when it was obvious he was doing poorly. It had come on suddenly and I was slightly panicked...the staff at this ER calmed me almost immediately as well as diagnosing my cat's helth problem. They were able to treat him and worked with me on payment of the services. They truly saved my cat's life!
For those after hour emergencies Cobb Co. Emergency CLinic has helped us out with a few visits and always taken the animals immediately. bills can run high with the fees for ER visit but the care is wonderful and we've never had to return with a followup b/c of a problem!
Very clean hospital and great service. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hospital when I visited my dog during the day hours of the clinic. I have been to other veterinary hospitals as well as to other emergency clinics and this was by far the cleanest hospital I have been to.Unlike the other hosptials I've been to this one did not have the typical smell that I can only describe as a "doggie" smell. The floors and cages were immaculate! The staff was very professional and helpful when I asked questions about m... read more
very bad experience I cannot express my dissatisfaction enough with the diagnosis provided from Dr. Allison Maddox, DVM in regards to my pet Rocco, who was seen for a leg injury Monday, August 13th, 2012. She seemed entirely unconfident in her diagnosis of my petâs injury and was not able to provide me with any relevant information. For most of the visit she was unsure as to if we were even looking at the correct animal in the x-rays provided. When questioned about a cloudy area on the screen, she informed me that was my p... read more
Cobb Emergency Vet sits at the Feet of God in my Book I have a small canine rescue and 8 dogs of my own - at one time I had 8 cats but they have all passed from old age, living to 16, 17 and 18 years old. The people on here that say they are in it for the money are simply pigs who THEMSELVES are more worried about money than the lives of their pets. I have taken RESCUES - shelter dogs that are looking for a home - and dropped $800 to $1500 - not without a heartstopping moment, that is a LOT of money to a rescue - but Drs. Ha... read more
The Cobb Emergency Clinic is after your money!!!!!!!!!! My dog Nitro was very sick on March 14th 2008. I had taken him to a great Veterinarian group at Town and Country Clinic on Gresham Road. They immediately examined Nitro with the possible diagnosis of pancreatitis. He was running a high temperature and administered fluids right away. They advised me to take him to the Cobb Veterinary to continue his fluids. I wasn't happy with that decision since we had to put our previous dog, King, down on 3/27/2005. I had a bad taste i... read more
