KILL BELOVED PETS FOR MONEY This clinic should NOT be in business. My family brought my cat to this vet because it was our only resort for a blood transfusion that she needed. Not only was the veterinarian Allison Maddox un knowledgeable of any of our questions and defensive when we asked them, she was rude and heartless. As we accepted to pay a ridiculous overcharge to bring our family cat back to health and said our goodbyes before the procedure, five minutes later they called to bluntly tell us our lifelong pet had died a... read more

Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic Terrible Doyle Johnson and this clinic just want your money. I gave them $1081 up front to work on my dog. They euthanized her and would not give me her remains. After asking a dozen times they told me I had a bill to pay. It was the euthanization charge. This clinic and Ms Johnson should have their license revoked.

Go to Woodstock Emergency Vet instead!! I had to bring my cat in at around midnight because he was in pain and very stiff when I tried to pick him up. He had struggled in the litter box three times prior to that so I assumed something was wrong with his being able to go to the bathroom. I could hear him howling in the back room at the vet so I felt terrible. The Vet came into the room where I was waiting and told me he was fat and that he needed to lose weight. She then drew a picture of a cat peeing and a cat pooping and as... read more

Excellent Care I've dealt with this facility both on the phone and in person. In both cases they provided excellent care for the animals and helped to calm their humans. I had a lab mix that was doing poorly suddenly. We brought her in because it was after hours at her regular vet. They took us right away. It turned out she was having internal bleeding. They kept her overnight to do tests to find out what was causing it. It was a tumor that they could do nothing about, but due to their care, her life was extended for 3 month... read more

Beware of Dr. Zach Lane! Do not take your pet here if Dr. Zach Lane is on duty!! He has no idea what he is doing in regard to exotic care of small pocket pets. We have a beloved pet rat who became ill during Sunday of this past memorial day weekend and began mouth breathing which is a sign of respiratory distress and can be very serious in pet rats. We have had this happen before when we adopted a rat from a local rescue and we were given medicine and a certain protocol for care. Our pet rats also have a specialized exotic v... read more

They're going to take your money!!! I took a small dog (3 lbs) with a broken leg to the clinic on 41 on a Sunday at 3pm. 2 xrays and a splint with pain meds cost $635.00. A break down of the fees, emergency visit $45, office visit $54, 3 pain shots $41, $46 & $41, 2 xrays $127, charge to read the 2 xrays $127, splint for broken leg $79, pain meds to take home $68 + tax and a disposal fee. Sound like a rapist to you? Me too. They took care of the dog which was the most important thing & I'm thankful for that but man! A little... read more

I have no confidence in the vets there We recently took one of our birds to Cobb Emergency Vet because they are one of the few vets that claim to have bird emergency vets on staff. I have no confidence that the vet that saw him had any specialization in birds at all. He couldn't even identify what type of bird he was (a parrotlet). He wanted to do bloodwork, which is never recommended for parrotlets because they are so small and can easily go into shock. When we refused, he basically said there was nothing hecould do, and th... read more

They killed my cat I brought my cat in and it was extremely obvious it was an emergency when minutes can make a differene. Instead of taking my cat for immate care, the doctor had to write up an estimate of the bill and have me sign it and pay before they would look at my animal. They should not be in the business of caring for animals if it's money they care about more than the animal. I call my vet the very next morning and they said my cat's life probably could have been saved. These people did not do any type of x-ray, m... read more
