client Sadly, we had to spend a lot of time at Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic last week, but I wanted to say they are absolutely amazing <3 We have dealt with other emergency clinics and had horrible experiences so we were bracing ourselves for the worst. The entire staff was so nice and compassionate. Both vets, Dr. Maddox and Dr. Quinlan, we saw were wonderful! I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

They SAVED my baby On 7/23/10, my 6 lb toy poodle Tarie was viciously attacked by my neighbors dog. She had to have emergency surgery @ another hospital but I had to transfer her the next day to Cobb Emergency. The doctor (Dr Lombardi) was upfront w/me about the severity of her injuries & that their costs were expensive but that they would do a thorough examination & she would get the best care. The next day, I was told that Tarie may not make it & that the next 72 hrs were very critical. Needless to say, Tarie made it thru ... read more

It's all about the $$ Dr. Maddux - vet with an attitude! Took my dog in on a Sunday night as I thought he might have a UTI. They put in a catheter to obtain a urine specimen but lab showed no infection. Dr. Maddux suggested it might be a kidney stone and wanted to do xrays and ultrasound. When I told her we would take our dog to his regular vet the following morning Dr. Maddux developed a real attitude. She made certain to tell us that she was busy so we should be prepared to wait since it was going to take her a while to co... read more

Dr Kevorkians of Emergency Veterinary Clinics These people try to tell you what they THINK is wrong with your pet. Something is very wrong at this place. If you love your pet, take it to a real vet Stay away from Cobb or Cherokee Clinics. I know from experience..they are quacks,if they can't figure out whats wrong with your pet they try to convince you to euthinize it. Don't!!! There are Dr's out there that can help!! One dr. there tried to convince me to put down a perfectly heathly pet because she was lethargic..because th... read more

DON'T GO THERE! I have never been to a vet hospital that made you feel like you were stupid and did everything wrong. My dog had puppies, and one little one was failing, so we had to go to the emergency clinic. Later we found out, from our regular vet, that she probably defecated in the sack and aspirated so her lungs were full of fluid. Cobb EVC vets never asked the questions to get to the problem. They put a tube in her and sucked it out to show me. Then the vet insinuated that I fed the puppy something I shouldn't have. I... read more

Calming and thorough in an emergency I brought my cat in one evening when it was obvious he was doing poorly. It had come on suddenly and I was slightly panicked...the staff at this ER calmed me almost immediately as well as diagnosing my cat's helth problem. They were able to treat him and worked with me on payment of the services. They truly saved my cat's life!

For those after hour emergencies Cobb Co. Emergency CLinic has helped us out with a few visits and always taken the animals immediately. bills can run high with the fees for ER visit but the care is wonderful and we've never had to return with a followup b/c of a problem!

Cobb Emergency Vet sits at the Feet of God in my Book I have a small canine rescue and 8 dogs of my own - at one time I had 8 cats but they have all passed from old age, living to 16, 17 and 18 years old. The people on here that say they are in it for the money are simply pigs who THEMSELVES are more worried about money than the lives of their pets. I have taken RESCUES - shelter dogs that are looking for a home - and dropped $800 to $1500 - not without a heartstopping moment, that is a LOT of money to a rescue - but Drs. Ha... read more

The Worst Throughout my life I have received excellent service and not so excellent service but no business as ever come even as close to under delivering like CobbEVC. I take reviews online with a grain of salt but our experience truly was horrible. They did not kill my pet; however, they did nothing correctly and I feel they jeopardized her health. I will not go into details as I could write a novel and all it is going to do is re-hatch months of frustration, hurt, and heated discussions with family. From the actual surger... read more
