They wanted to kill my puppy Awful expierence. Rude girl up front. Then FINALLY told me after forcing me to pay over $100 up front to just examine her, that all they could do was euthanize her. I said no way, she will pass with me at home. Esoecially sense they wouldn't let me back with her. Then had to balls to tell me if I had money, they would suggest overnight stay with them. And to tell me she wouldn't make it through the night. I watched my pup all night, and now she is as good as new. I amlost lost my dog due to them.... read more

very bad experience I cannot express my dissatisfaction enough with the diagnosis provided from Dr. Allison Maddox, DVM in regards to my pet Rocco, who was seen for a leg injury Monday, August 13th, 2012. She seemed entirely unconfident in her diagnosis of my pet??s injury and was not able to provide me with any relevant information. For most of the visit she was unsure as to if we were even looking at the correct animal in the x-rays provided. When questioned about a cloudy area on the screen, she informed me that was my pe... read more

They're going to take your money!!! I took a small dog (3 lbs) with a broken leg to the clinic on 41 on a Sunday at 3pm. 2 xrays and a splint with pain meds cost $635.00. A break down of the fees, emergency visit $45, office visit $54, 3 pain shots $41, $46 & $41, 2 xrays $127, charge to read the 2 xrays $127, splint for broken leg $79, pain meds to take home $68 + tax and a disposal fee. Sound like a rapist to you? Me too. They took care of the dog which was the most important thing & I'm thankful for that but man! A little... read more

The place to take your pet to die Went to Cherokee Clinic on Sunday March 25, 2012 My dog walked in alive at 10:30am and I carried her out dead 4 hours later. They delayed treating her because they felt more important cases came along. Twice they sent me home saying they would run blood. I turned my loving companion over to them not saying goodbye thinking I would have her back in 20 minutes never saw her alive again. they will not allow owners back there. My precious love died alone without me because of their careless, inh... read more

yuck My cat became ill due to the ingestion of a weeping fig (ficus) while in the care of my friend. My friend brought the cat in after she had vomited multiple times & began drooling excessively. She expressed her concern to me many times, saying that she believed eating the plant is what made my cat ill. She also said she explicitly said this many times while in the vet's office. Apparently, however, she was brushed off and the cat was treated for another diagnosis ("stress; change of diet") and was sent home. However, the... read more

Cobb Emergency Vet Clinic/Would not recommend!!! My girlfriend and I arrived at the clinic with our dog, who was having a seizure. After about 30 minutes, the vet told us that our pet was doing good after an injection of anti-seizure meds, and that his temperature had stabilised. He told us that he needed to keep our dog for 36 hours, and that it would cost $1500.00 to keep him supervised, and give him medical care. We were told that our pet had a really good chance of recovering. The price made us wince, but we were told th... read more

So glad Cherokee EVC was there Recently I took my 17 year old cat Coquie to the Cherokee Emergency vet clinic. He's been in renal failure for quite awhile and had a bad reaction to a med my regular vet had given to help his appetite and calm his nighttime vocalizing. This one visit with Dr. Quinlan and staff seemed to do more for him than several months of care at a regular clinic! The staff could give regular clinics lessons on how to treat clients, and this at an emergency clinic where the stress level is no doubt much hig... read more
