AMAZING This animal hospital has been nothing but wonderful from the very beginning. They not only have great customer service but they are very quick, professional, and caring. I bring 4 cats and a dog to them and they always greet us with a smile. Plus, they are far more affordable than the other hospitals in town where you feel like just another patient instead of a cared for client. I recommend 100%!! (I am a vet tech and I would rather bring my animals here than where I even work!)
Great Emergency Vet This is the best clinic. The Dr.s and staff are knowledgeable and very caring. When you are in distress and your pet is ill, you really need reassurance. When my dog was discharged, I received an unbelievably comprehensive evaluation of everything that occurred. It was helpful information I could take to my vet. I highly recommend.

Great care...IF you can afford it! I rushed a cat to CARES one night during a blizzard after I noticed blood was pouring out of him instead of urine. It turns out he had an inflamed urethra that required catheterization. As cats will do, he got really sick really fast and was becoming dehydrated. He received great care while he was there for several days. Constant heart monitoring, bloodwork, etc...better treatment than most human,hospitals. The vet on staff was fantastic! quality Cares is a really great referral and emergency practice, not as great as VSDS, but if you live in this area, it is a close by quality practice. I would highly suggest this facilty
Wonderful in a time of sorrow! The staff was very kind, caring and understanding during the loss of our beloved ferret. He was a part of our family for 7 years and it was heartbreaking to lose him. We were able to stay with him while he passed over. I would recommend them for emergencies. They even arranged cremation for us. The whole process was made much easier. Thank you to the staff.ÂWe miss you Whitefoot.
24 hour veterinarian I was in an emergency situation with my bunny and Dr. Parks did an excellent job with diagnosis and treatment. It is reassuring to have a veterinarian who will see a rabbit in an emergency situation.
Tidewater Animal Emergency is very good! My experience with Tidewater Animal Emergency was completely different than the person who waited for 3 hours with their dog. As soon as the front desk attendant saw the shape my kitten was in, he was wisked away for immediate intensive care. We did have to wait awhile for the veterinarian to speak to us, but I understand emergency rooms (whether for people or animals) triage their patients, and there were other emergency situations going on at the same time.
