Little things have been happening over the last two years that got half way "fixed" when we would ask them to come while we still had our warranty. We purchased the Blazer single wide 16x66 and it was delivered 2/2018. We have had numerous roof leaks and did not understand why with it being a new home. Recently, we had a roofer come out and they stated that with the 212 pitch of the roof, it will always leak with shingles even if it's a new roof. This roofer advised us that we would need to replace the roof with a metal roof to stop leaks. Do not purchase a home from Clayton in Candler, North Carolina. We bought an on frame modular. When the inspector came out he informed us they had done the piers for a doublewide and he needed the plans for our home. He called the manager in Candler for almost 3 weeks, he never returned the inspectors call. We thought we were getting our CO. Richmond, Kentucky Clayton homes lied to us from the very beginning on timelines. I was told by the sales agent our home would be moved and we would be in our home within 2 weeks of signing the contract. AFTER I signed the sales contract and mortgage paperwork the sales manager informed me the sales agent lied and that's why he fired her. He couldn't of told us that before purchasing the home? clayton homes in greenwood is the sorriest place to buy a home from they lie to you all the time when you buy a home from them and they breach your contract and do shody work to install it . after it is installed your toilets want let soil waste go down and the roof leaks . when you call them they comee out and tell you nothings wrong and refuse to fix your problem

If zero stars was an option it would be fitting. Clayton Ringgold office in Georgia has been absolutely terrible to deal with. We have been lied to since day 1. Once we finally did get the house "ordered" we were told it was one thing but by the time it was "ready" it was something similar but not what we ordered. I have just experience an unprofessional team with Clayton Homes in Lubbock Texas. This was a simple transaction (Cash) and communication was horrible. Contract incorrect after I had emailed them corrections. Delivery of MH communication was in sane I had to call them to communicate delivery and even then could not set a date. Communication then begin through text by the agent to argue further "whatever nobody cares" and that they are very busy I am not their only client.
