My father is in his 60s paying on the loan for his home (currently on the property) and rent because he cannot gain occupancy. The manufacture needs to come out and fix the home (under warranty and was advised beginning of August.) before his porch stairs are built. In order to gain occupancy of his home, he needs the steps built. He was advised the repairs on his NEW home will not be done until the end of October. Is this how we treat our senior citizens? I am helping him out by obtaining phone numbers to contact to get thi... read more

I wish I could give Clayton Homes of Dublin, Georgia a -10 rating. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had and have never met a more despicable and underhanded sales team in my life; mainly ******** *** ****. My husband and I initially toured homes at this site for new ones but ended up noticing a 2020 repo home while I was looking out a back window. It was well priced and after much discussion, my husband and I decided to move forward. As we were going along in the process, we were told over and over about pot... read more

My daughter bought a home to put on my property where we share a well. The plumber that Clayton's subcontracted refused to listen to me or my brother when we spoke with them in regards to where they needed to come into the wellhouse to connect to the well. They left open ditches and a huge hole right at my only outdoor water access that i had to use on a daily bases for weeks, Because of the unnecessary mess they created on my side of the well and my home i turned my ankle tearing a tendon and the planers fascia so have had ... read more

80% of Home Has No Plywood Sheathing! Bought in 2013. Decided recently to update the vinyl siding. We were shocked to find that the home is basically covered in cheap Styrofoam. And what isnthere is a pieced together mess. Some seams and joints even have holes left. We are absolutely sick.to.our stomachs and will be sinking in another $1000 to fix the issue. Disgusting. Rigid foam sheathing installed on exterior walls fully complies with HUD code requirements, ensuring that your home meets the necessary standards for insulat... read more

We received our Double wide in 2/2024. We had it about 8 weeks when we started noticing mold all through the home. They have replaced most of the wall board around the window and doors and resealed them, the wall board behind the stove and behind the kitchen cabinets were full of mold and mildew. Also, all of the bathroom ceilings have had mold and mildew in them. Also, they added it for new vent roofs to this roof. They cut out something up underneath the hot water heater and air conditioner. It has been a mess. We were hop... read more

Will you please email us at customeradvocacy@claytonhomes.com with your name, phone, and details of interaction including location and retailer. Thank you.

Most of my complaints are on the actual seller of the home. Green Acres in Union City, Tn. I closed on my home in October 2024. They were still not finished with my home when the 180 day "construction" period had come. There was an extension made. I would not sign off on this as complete until they made repairs. The outside corner pieces looked like scrap they found in a pile. Parts of the trim at the eaves was pieced together, counted a total of 8 pieces on just one end of the home. Trim was popping off of seams on wall boa... read more
