I dropped them today. They canceled our son due to a 3 claims in 4 years. Fine. Then they cancelled us for not signing an exclusion to not let son drive our vehicles. He doesnt live with us and has never driven our trucks. Called them cancelled home and auto. Went to ***********. Saved $66 month on auto and $550 year on home. ***** State Farm and Jake.
We had a total loss house fire on December 12 2022. IF you can get ahold of someone they promise a call back that does not happen. As of today 1-15-2023 still no plan of action on settling the claim. No one returns calls. Definitely crappy customer service.
Terrible Terrible customer service, they want you to call around for an appointment for repairs after there insured hits your vehicle they want you to do all the work and especially Brooke ******* terrible service, terrible attitude and language towards someone not their customer Overall I would never get statefarm let alone I would never recommend it even if policies were $1 the service is terrible you wait 10 mins to speak to someone then they act like your helping you just throw you back in a queue I can go on for hours f... read more
I am in the midst of a claim currently. I was hit by an SUV going so fast that I was hurled into a parked car and now have a head injury, a neck sprain, and whiplash. State Farm has treated me like absolute crap. One of the first things my claims handler said was “You may be liable.” He never asked me what happened, never to a statement, didn’t ask about witness, didn’t ask the speed of the street, and still has not received the police report. Agreed upon an auto quote, then two months later the monthly bill went up by $100+. They say I didn't submit documents. (Documentation they never asked for -- how was I to know what they needed?!) Deceptive and shady. Do not trust State Farm quotes; they do not honor them after you are roped in to a policy.
I spoke to State Farm in August 2022 3about my bill being lower. He advise me to have the good driving app in my car. He said I will get a discount on January 23. However my bill went up. I called customer service and they said there was an rate increase of 19% that is way to high Please advice

State Farm is not a good neighbor. They are absolutely the worst! After a recent hail storm that affected a 1 to 2 block radius around my house my home was devastated. I have asphalt coming off my roof when it rains, my plant collection was shredded, and my house looks like its been hit by bullets. State Farm denied my claim. To add insult to injury more than half (22 so far) of the surrounding homes-not covered by State Farm are currently in the process of having their roofs replaced and homes painted. Terrible company.
On the Auto Insurance side, 1 star only because I couldn't proceed with no stars. My review is for State Farm, not the earnest, patient, and courteous service reps. State Farm's availability to the customer is well protected behind an automated attendant that can take 5 - 10 minutes to navigate, that repeatedly directs you to use the app, only to find out your gut was right and you can't get the answers you need or the person you need to talk to via the app. If you persist with the phone call and manage to get connected to t... read more
State Farm dropped me after I asked i if i was covered for roof leak and my pool collapsed. Mind you I asked my agent only They said no . I had roof replaced out of pocket which ai expected $17,000 and replaced pool as they don’t offer above ground pool coverage . The sheet rock and paint were also done by me as I have A$5,000 deductible. My house has new pool new siding new roof new deck and I never received a cent I just wanted to know if anything was covered and now they are dropping me .
