I cancelled my insurance almost 3 mo ago, I'd like to have my refund back, my insurance was paid for the whole year, I gave them a check the very first day, I didn't make them wait, but they don't mind me waiting, the reason I cancelled was because my insurance went up without them telling me and when I asked why, there answer is the same, "My insurance is going up, and so is yours and everyone else's" I agree with that, but you could have told me B4 you sent the bill to my mortgage company, I'm glad they didn't pay you, I w... read more

We have been a part of Ryan Klibert's office in **********, ** for 10+ years using them for auto, personal home, and rental homes. It pains me to write this review just based on the past 6 months, but I received such horrendous customer service and no response from his office, that this is my only avenue. Mid-2022, I noticed major differences in response time and guidance. I suffered a covered water damage loss in late October and immediately notified State Farm. In the interim, we had a water mitigation company come out to prevent more damage from occurring. To State Farm's credit, they paid the company for its work, but they appear to be stalling us in providing the resources to return our property to the condition prior to the loss. It has been almost a month filed claim on December 24, 2022 for water damage from storm, I have had 2 adjusters and still no estimate, numerous calls that have still not been returned or answered, even why I almost begged to contact me because I finally had a company to do remediation waiting for a go ahead to do work. There slogan “like a good neighbor State Farm is there” NOT TRUE finally took it on my self to remove soiled drywall and and rug. Horrible service.

Oh my gosh...after reading a few other reviews, we are definitely not alone in being very upset with State Farm! My husband and I have had State Farm for over 25 years. They sent us a letter right before Christmas, giving us about a 2/weeks notice for cancelling our homeowners policy. Reason - "...because of our claim activity..." - We recently had them approve a roof replacement, which remains to be seen. They listed our claims. I left ***** to get state farm rental insurance, cause I got the auto. Worst mistake ever, we went over everything on the rental insurance. Everything, now 6 month later I had a disaster and can t go back into my apartment, . I had a peril clause to pay for my living expenses. They still lying and denied me even after I had the corporate office escalate it. I report them to the insurance commissioner, and file a complaint. Don t ever deal with state farm rental insurance.

I have had State Farm homeowners for 30+ years. Paid faithfully, never a late payment and no claims. Had a tree fall on my garage destroying 1/2 my roof and siding in 2021. I filed a claim and what transpired was 4 months of complete confusion, frustration and incompetence. I had to deal with one claims manager after another with each one not knowing what information the last one had. They made it easy to file a claim but don't honor their promises they make nor are they fair. I have a pending claim with them and was promised a similar or better car as a rental while I wait for my repair to be completed. They now want me to pay for the upgrade and want me in a sedan instead of a SUV altogether. wow! I drive a 2018 *** Yukon. That's very off from a sedan. I have a big family and need the extra seats. I do not know Why State Farm has joined with *******. Switching to ******* has been a nightmare. A deer hit my car in December 2022. ****** is now "Investing" me for fruad. To start, they gave the appraiser the wrong address. The address where my car was towed is three hrs away from the correct address. So their argument was that there is no way anyone would tow my car 3 hrs away for $175. You are right!
