RecommendedWe absolutely love Dr. Allen and Dr. Prejean. My 3 kids have been seeing Dr. Prejean for 17 years and now my 21mon old grandson is with Dr. Allen.
Dr. Wright was extremely rude to my sick baby. He kept fussing at him over and over to “not hit him and not touch his things” when my son did not attempt to hit him at all. He acted like he was extremely aggravated we were even there and gave us no advice on his bad cough/cold. He showed zero care or compassion so I’m not sure why he chose to be a pediatrician. We will not be going back.
They don’t respect a parents decision for informed choice and will not continue to see you if you choose to deviate from their recommendations. Then they will deny you access to information via the phone and inconvenience you to get the help or answers you need from your past medical records. I loved Dr. Harmon, but can’t recommend a practice who doesn’t believe in letting parents make informed decisions for their children’s medical care. The office staff has not been helpful at all.
RecommendedPediatrics West is a great doctors office to take your child. I been taking my oldest child there for 12 years and the youngest for elven years. Dr. Smith and Dr. Harris are great doctors.

RecommendedWe love Vestavia Pediatrics! We see Dr. Crum and she is fantastic. We have also seen others when she isn’t available, and we’ve been pleased with all of them! They are all very thorough and patient with our little ones. We love the doctors, the nurses for the most part are great too!

RecommendedWe were just released on Christmas Eve. My 8 month old was having to work real hard to breath. So we took her to children’s after she was misdiagnosed twice by her pediatrician office. Children’s staff knew exactly what was wrong with her as soon as the many nurses heard her. They opened there arms to us and didn’t just make sure our daughter was ok they also made sure that mommy and daddy was ok as well and if we understood everything that was going on.
