I'm very disappointed with the pediatric care my daughter received in the Children's of Alabama system via the Trussville office. She has autism. When we lived in Alabama our pediatrician basically ignored our concerns as simple developmental delays. It was until just before we moved to Massachusetts that he referred us to a developmental pediatrician. It was obvious she had signs of autism even before the age of one. RecommendedMy grandson saw Dr. Carter Wallace for gastro problems today. Dr. Wallace was the kindest, most personable and concerned doctor I have ever encountered. He took the time to actually listen to our concerns and he was genuinely concerned with our sweet baby. RecommendedLast night I took my daughter to the emergency room. The nurse Marissa was such a Godsend. I am a parent that has had to face the harsh reality of losing a child so anytime one of my children are sick I am an emotional mess. Marissa took the time to not only help me get my daughter help but she spoke to my three year old in a way that made all fear escape us.
