We are so thankful to live in Birmingham and have access to this outstanding facility. From the ER, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Hospitalists, Neurology, to CBIT program, we have experienced first hand the phenomenal service and care this state of the art institution provides to our most precious assets. We are so blessed to have it in our Magic City! Thank you Children's Hospital for caring for our children!
My daughter was recently diagnosed with a Wilm's tumor on her right kidney. We spent time on the surgical and oncology floor and have since spent time I'm Clinic 8. My entire family was cares for in a way that amazed me. Everyone made sure that even in this stressful time, we felt like we were home. We are so thankful to have a facility like this so nearby.
We are always at children's for our twins. Both have hydrocephalus and our son also has spina bifida. We couldn't ask for better care and better Drs. My kids are thriving and they never give up on them or us. Thank you!!!! Especially to the neurosurgery team and the nursing staff!!
I have been dealing with Children's Hospital for 17 1/2 years. My daughter has been through so much in her life . I can say Birmingham Children's Hospital is racked 8 th in the USA. I think they should be racked the last and worst Hospital in the USA. I do agree with the doctors at LeBonheur hospital in Memphis TN. That Birmingham Children's Hospital is worst worst Hospital in the USA . They are a very few doctors ta are here that is great doctors that goes beond their calling. Children's saved my daughters life. The NICU team on floor six in the quarterback tower were absolutely amazing! Special shoutout to McKinsey, Robin, and all of the other wonderful people who took care of my Gracelynn! I asked questions often and never was left confused or wondering! I will always be eternally grateful for her surgery team led by Dr. Mortellaro for all they did for her as well! I recommend this hospital to everyone. My daughter Christina just left from having her surgery there and I must say the staff there was absolutely wonderful she had the best nurse's EVER! Big shout out to nurse Doug for being such a loving caring nurse and friend to my little girl❤❤❤❤ thanks so much to you all for everything you do!!!!!!
Dr. Khoury in Clinic 11 is AMAZING! My daughter was born with Bilateral Clubfoot. Treatment started when she was just 2 weeks old and now she is 3 months. I have drove 3 hours to and from to see Dr. Khoury once a week to get treatment for my daughter. He is a wonderful Doctor and I will forever be grateful. He goes above and beyond what you expect from most Doctors. We are so blessed to have him as Journee's Doctor and I could never thank him enough!!!!
My son underwent his first open heart surgery at Children's a few weeks ago. I cannot say thank you enough to the surgeons, the cardiologists, the CVICU nurses and staff, and the nurses on the 8th floor. Thank you all so very much for taking excellent care of my son and for helping us through this difficult time! We are so blessed and we pray for God's blessings for each of you and the other children in your care!
