My 4 year old son was diagnosed with kawasaki disease and had to be sent here for treatment. Everyone was so nice and made sure my son was well taken care of. I love this hospital and will recommend it to everyone.
My experience with Them have been great, the staff is very caring and that makes a difference in where I take my kids! My son was going to have a procedure done and needed an iv and they gave him gas then did the iv and got it out before he woke up so he never knew it was there and that helped me know they didn't hurt him!
My little girl went on through the ER for an asthmas attack. The staff did not just medicate her and send her out the door. Instead they listened and examined and and went above and beyond. Turns out because a little extra digging she has heart and lung issues and we had a little extended stay there but if weren't for the stopping and paying attention my baby might not have made it. I'm forever greatful for the ones that possibly saved her life.
Children's of Alabama is an awesome hospital with amazing doctors, nurses, and other staff!
Was our famiys first visit yes a little confused were we had to be it was so big but every direction we turn there was someone asking can I help you pointing us were we should be super friendly staff all smiles love it !!
HORRIBLE DOCTORS but good nurses. Doctors tried to keep my 1.5yo to run some "necessary" only after they found out she didn't have health insurance. After following up with 3 doctors my daughter didn't need to stay at the hospital and ran us up a bill of $50,000+. The doctor was VERY rude and even called a SW after I told him I was a single mom and couldn't afford health insurance, that's why I was asking what was 1000 questions about why test needed to ran that had nothing to do with her visit. 3 days there and never got ou... read more
