RecommendedOur seven year old grandson has cancer and is being treated at Children’s now. We absolutely love everything about it! From the evening we had to bring James in an ambulance from St Joseph to Children’s he has had the best doctors, nurses and staff❤️. Everyone has been so kind to him and our family while he is having chemo, etc. He was diagnosed with Wilmes tumor on the kidney in June and is getting ready to have his last chemo treatment! My daughter is a cardiac patient at CMH and they're team of nurses, cardiologists, doctors, and our surgeon is amazing.
I just want to say THANK U to all the drs nurses and staff at childrens mercy and the EMT my baby boy had RSV and now he is all better. seeing the improvement in him made my day. you guys ROCK and we appreciate everything u did for our family. LOVE RIVER ADAMS AND FAMILY.
Glad some have good experiences at Children’s Mercy But I did not. We took our son there. They couldn’t figure out was wrong with him after many tests and instead of saying they couldn’t figure out was wrong we were told he needed a psychiatrist. We did not listen to them because we knew they were way off base and we took him to another neurologist where he was diagnosed and treated and healed and he did not need a psychiatrist. This hospital wasted our time upset us and delayed real treatment for our son.
CMH is the best and complete hospital for kids, be ranking in 10 specialties is nothing easy and no many hospital in US have that accreditation. I just move to north Florida and the pediatric hospital on my area they celebrate been ranking on 3 specialties and that make me understand what is the meaning to be ranking on 10 specialties as best children hospital. I miss my CMH I miss my Coworkers.😍
This hospital is amazing. Not only have they offered our family top notch care but they have worked with us financially. I wouldn’t trust my child with any other hospital. Special kudos to the genetics department and keeping me sane through late night on call phone advice.
Children's Mercy East in Independence and ER on Children's Mercy Gilliam are both the most amazing facilities. The nurses, Doctors and specialists that treat there are phenomenal, I don't know where they find that many well trained professionals that are so friendly, upbeat and patient. Thanks for all your help Children's Mercy gang!
These folks are saints and angels in family’s Times for need. So kind, caring, and loving.
I had to take my 7month old to the ROC clinic and every single person we came in contact with was polite and so willing to help from the security team to the RT and everyone in between was amazing. Having to drive 1 hour everyday sometimes more than once a day was worth it knowing my son was getting the best care from such knowledgeable people.
