Don’t recommend the ER at all. My 7 week old son has a hypothermic temperature and we’ve been sitting in the waiting room for over 2 hours

Childrens Mercy Hospital is the best. They have provided every resource we need for our grandson, who was diagnosed with cancer just before Thanksgiving. They are super helpful and kind through this extremely difficult time. ❤️❤️
The dr and nurses here are great, but the billing office is horrendous. I have been calling since the end of October 4x to have my daughters secondary insurance loaded to be billed and I called again today because once the secondary insurance processes I will be owed a 2k refund and it still hasn’t even been loaded into the system to have it billed.
My daughter has had ventricular tachycardia since around age 2...she is now 8. We spent last week on 4 Sutherland and there aren’t enough words to express our gratitude for the nurses we had. There are enough words for the silver team docs- Erickson, Burris, Berg. The blue team 3rd year residents- Pomo and Nikaeen (you two ladies are doing what you should be doing in life!) a vascular tech/picu nurse- Nicole (who did the best iv everrr and we know bc we’ve had a lot of stays at mercy) Surgeons- Frazier and Choy. I honestly like the physicians in the ENT clinic as well as pulmonary, but the social workers need better training, and understand that everyone does not want to talk to them maybe they should come when they're asked for or when abuse is involved because having a sick child is stressful enough
