Se supone que tienen los especialista para niños y ninguno quizo atender a mi hijo de 11 años con un dolor de cirugía de apendicitis y camina jorobado sin enderezarse por el dolor desde hace 6 semanas y no supieron ni hicieron no trataron de hacer algo por un niño que según es su prioridad. Nos mandaron a casa y de los hospitales de aquí nos mandan para ahí porque según es el mejor hospital. Incompetentes! Inhumanos con el sufrimiento de un niño. O será racismo por ser hispanos.
RecommendedMy daughter was admitted for 4 days recently. Every staff member went above and beyond for her. We couldn't have been happier with her care!
brought my daughter in at 2am Friday and are leaving today. I have never been more happy with a care team. these people are amazing, nice as can be and genuinely concerned about any and all questions. i cannot remember all the ladies on the 6th floor night staff, but Sarah and the other 2 were amazing! Makaylah loves you guys and that's really all that matters when you're scared after a situation like that. I appreciate it all!!
An RN from your facility decided it was okay to bully, harass, belittle and attack ones opinion, appearance, and character on a public platform.. WITH her JOB title public. her job title is an RN at Children's Mercy Hospital. this is not and never will be appropriate in any way, shape or form. I will make sure this problem is resolved before I ever return to the specialty clinic with my child. Such understanding and supportive staff. They never lose sight of the fact you are going thru a rough time and are always there for you.
We love Children's Mercy, we see their Cleft Palate team. Highly recommend. Word of warning though...I would NOT recommend the valet. Or if you do, make sure you don't leave ANY valuables in your vehicle. Without thinking, we left a large bill in the console and it was gone when we went to use it that night. We called and the operator said that has been happening frequently, but our message was never returned from security. Love the physicians and most staff, will not be using valet anymore. :(
My son is seeing Dr. Gopenetti in Wichita. And I must say she blew me away, she was so great. She was very thorough with my son. She also drew a picture to explain what was going with his heart. She made sure I understood everything.
Horrible experience with multiple doctors. They don't listen to the parents or the child, they only treat the presenting symptoms instead of finding out the root of the problem. Misdiagnosed my child twice.
I liked the PICU doctors they told us what they where doing and why as they did it which takes time in an emergency. I love the cardiology team. Our experience with our son has a been a world of difference compared to other hospital experiences. They respect our choices as parents and advocates for our son.
