Great experience all around staff was very helpful and didn't treat u like u were dumb
The lady at the Same Day Surgery told US to leave while we were waiting for our One Year Old Grandson who was in the recovery room from surgery at 5:00a.m. She also took the remote away from us and put it on a cabinet when we tried to turn the T.V. to cartoons for our three year old Granddaughter. We had been at Freeman Hospital for hours before being Emergency TRANPORTED to Mercy Hospital. Her picture follows.
My daughter has been to Children's Mercy Gastro Clinic many times since July of 2015. Originally she saw Dr Julia Bracken and her equally amazing nurse Julie. After realizing that my daughter did not I fact have Celiac, but Crohn's Disease instead, we switched to Dr Julie Bass & nurse Kadie. Children's Mercy is amazing! Without them my son would not be alive. He was born at 32 weeks and had trouble remembering to breathe. They saved his life. Those doctor's and nurses mean the world to me. I could go on for days about how much this hospital means to me.
