My daughter had ASD/VSD closure at 6 months old 6 years ago this week at Children's Mercy. They took such great care of her every person at the hospital was fantastic!!!!
My daughter see's a doctor there for headaches, Her doctor is great, how ever when the doctor advised her to go to the Er cause she was having a bad headache my daughter waited 4 hours to be seen I can accept a reasonable wait time in the Er but 4 hours is totally unacceptable!!!!!!! How can you call it an " Emergency room" when you have patients waiting 4 plus hours.. completely disappointed
Our great care started in the ER. My son got bit by a cat a year ago and his hand was noticeably swollen and red. I expressed my concern and they admitted him for observation. During our 3 day stay we were on isolation precautions but that didn't stop them from finding things for my almost 1 year old to do. Day 2 they wanted to discharge but I felt like he needed a little more IV antibiotics and they listened and they kept him after discussing. Very kid friendly and very good at putting parents at ease. Thanks CMH!
My son received top notch care at Children's Mercy after a car accident. The people were amazing, the facility was fantastic- I can't say enough good things about our experience with them!!
