RecommendedAfter getting looked over and dismissed, twice, by a different downriver hospital, the doctors, nurses and staff at CHoM were not going to let us leave until they figured out what had been making my boys so sick. They had lots of compassion for his needs and mine, as a worrying Momma, as well.

on May 26 2010 Dr Sood performed a left anatomical hemispherectomy on my daughter due to Infantile spasms. The procedure not only saved her life but allowed her to thrive and make up what the seizures were taking away. we will be forever grateful to CHM and Dr Sood and Dr Chugani as well as all support staff. We love CHM and Detroit.
The nastiest hospital I’ve ever been too. Do not go here. Everything is filthy. We ended up walking out

my son was taken there and was on the nicu 3rd floor for 4 months. I thank God for dr chawula and everyone on the NICU 3rd floor who took care of my son David. you are absolutely the best.
7 and a half years ago, my son became very ill. We took him to the local hospital near us, where they misdiagnosed him and said he would either pass away or need medicine for the rest of his life... when we had him transferred to Children's Hospital they made the correct diagnosis, treated him, followed up with us, and today, my son is a healthy 14 and a half year old, who is NOT on medicine, and has been cured! Words will never be enough to express my gratitude for my son's life. But THANK YOU!!!!!
I wanted to give a special shout out to Taylor, nurse in NICU 3rd floor. She was amazing. Very thoughtful, knowledgeable, and considerate. Went above and beyond for us. This was absolutely the best hospital to be at for our little one. Thanks again Taylor!
