I've been a valued Chase customer for several years. My institution warned that I shouldn't have opened an account years ago and still I did. I just finally closed my account with a huge sigh of relief! A financial institution (who you trust with your money) should always think of the customer first. Chase is very very far from this mindset. Horrible service, outsource call centers that don't know the job. Don't forget they like to make up internal policies, I never agreed to them, I could care less.

I had a issue with a Company that I boat coats through and they wouldn't refund my money and I didn't receive any products from the Company. I called Chase because I bought the coats on a Chase credit card and they resolved the issue in 5 minutes and refunded me my money within less than a day.

A customer service representative just hung up on me after I told her that I had just spoken with a banker in the very bank in discussion who said that payments of $152 and $185 I had tried to make did not go through, and that I had seen that on my Chase account just the prior day. And in that very call, a representative in the credit card department said that she had record of the two payments not going through as well. For these reasons, I do not know how this representative is not either incompetant or stupid.

I would give a 0 star if I could! I opened a checking account with Chase Bank, switched my direct deposit and began using it. A few days after the account was opened, I unsuccessfully, tried to log into my app. Without any notice from the bank, my account had been frozen. I called customer service and was told that the account was frozen and would be closed and I would be mailed a check for whatever funds had been left in the account. I was in utter shock! 20.00 cash advance from a non case ATM -2.95 fee at atm - 10.00 cash advance FEE from Chase - 00.37 interest fee for cash advance The total money I got to keep after a credit card machine broke down amd had to use an ATM machine $6.58 After chase took $ 10.37. That is over 50% in FEES...i am pretty sure charging a "fee" and a % rate is illegal but I may be wrong eother way it is unethical and ahould be reviewed by the BBB..the fact that out of 20.00 only 6.58$ is what was left sfter so called fee is repulsive.

They cancelled my credit card even though I had never been late on a payment and always paid my card off in full each month. I guess they only like customers who pay late or don't pay off their account each month so that they can extract fees from them. Typical.

Chase is the worst bank ever. They are unwilling to assist you when their systems fail and their customer service reps never gives accurate information nor do they communicate with each other. This is a major issue due to the fact that their handling people’s hard earned money. They all need to be retrained and taught empathy. Chase locked my account because they weren't able to confirm a check. The check was mailed to me on behalf of my tenant as a form of rental assistance. Chase did not call me to discuss the check in question. They did send the check for payment from the issuing bank either. I would have understood if they put the check on hold. Instead they locked my account without notifying me. I had several payments coming in and out of that account. After I found out, I spend 3 hours on the phone to get the check verified.
