Today is Thursday 12/31/2020, my official retirement day after 27years and 4months. Unfortunately I spent all of this month ill with Covid. Sadly I am not able to say goodbye to all of my wonderful coworkers and staff that has made such an impact on my life. Caring for our Veterans and being part of of the VA system has been such an honor and one I will always cherish! Thank you Veterans for allowing me to be a part of your care. Thank you to the CTVHCS for giving me such a wonderful career! Best wishes to all! Linda Stroud ... read more

my husband and I are both veterans. We both have gotten letters saying we were unreachable. Neither of us had voicemails nor missed calls. When I called to schedule my appt the guy on the phone said I had a nephrology appt because Dr Torres said I needed it. First off, I don't have a nephrology need, secondly, my PCM is not a Dr. Torres. The guy was looking at someone else's info! 2 days after my Nov. VA appt I got an appointment reminder in the mail. Worst Yeah I’ve ever experienced. Not helpful at all! No concern or care for veterans themselves.

The RN’s n Dr’s lie about calling you and leaving voicemails. When you need trying to get in contact with them about a serious matter. This COVID 19 really has these Dr’s lacking on their jobs right now. I shouldn’t have to repeat myself to 3 different people the same questions asked the first time. Especially if they are passing the information along right.

Its a shame we waited 3 years for an appt and Cedar Park Location did a no show. Virtual or not you should have made a phone call to either say you were having technical difficulties or to reschedule the appointment. Typical VA.
