Shout out to Central DuPage Hospital! I asked my 4 year old what his favorite thing was over Thanksgiving and the past 3 days and it was his ER visit to CDH for croup at 3 am after not sleeping all night after Thanksgiving. He was so excited to get a book with CD, a stuffed animal and 2 popsicles! That was all while receiving two breathing treatments almost immediately after arrival to the waiting room and steroids to help his oxygen levels. He's still very wheezy but doing much better. Great staff always courteous and friendly. They try to make your bad situation better
I have been at CDH hundreds of times, in fact I'm an inpatient now. I have always given CDH 5 stars until this stay. They started a new food vendor a few weeks ago and boy CDH is.looking and tasting cheap. I know.people don't go to hospitals for their food. As person that knows this hospital, I would say somethings up and it must be Northwestern's buy out because this is not up to startards and I hope the care doesn't start to decline.
My husband was admitted to CDH on 9/12 and released on 9/14. From the minute he walked into the ER until he was released everyone (Receptionists, Doctors, Nurses, Technicians etc.) were so polite and interested in him and his care. We do not remember everyone's name involved in his care, and for that we apologize, but to name a few Drs. Marouni, Mazumdar,Sachdeva,Chen,Rao,Springman Nurses Laura Blacksmith, Mario,Melissa & Amy and PCT Felicia from CCU and 3rd floor., We offer our deepest Gratitude and Sincere Thanks.
