Staff were awesome! Clinic is well organized. Expect 2-3 hours for a consult but they keep you moving. Only complaint I have is Dr. Shoemaker saw me maybe 3 minutes. Didn't really give me a chance to ask questions. Not personable at all. But, my eye doctor said he is the best. Surgery is scheduled in 2 weeks. I guess the end result is what counts.
Cataract consultation visit 2:15-5:30 A lot of waiting time 2:15 appointment There at 2 waiting 1/2 before first taken back for a test, after several tests waited again 45 minutes or more for Dr Shoemakers nurse. I was told before a appointment would be 2-3 hours. Every person was very friendly and helpful from the reception gals to the 4 assistants doing tests to Dr Shoemakers very friendly and attractive nurse, I want to call her Linda, but I don’t think that was her name, to the gals in checkout. Eye sight is now 20/20 after first day. Very efficient.
So many people have rated this Doctor with 5 Stars. After completing my cataract procedure, I have to agree. The Staff, the Nurses, even the quality of the Reception staff let you know, the quality they exhibit is due to the quality of the doctor doing the procedures. My complete vision rested on this decision. So accommodating, so accomplished, job well done. Thank you all!
It was a wonderful experience all the way around from walking in the door until the time that i left. I could not have been more pleased.

Organized, friendly care.
Totally professional from top to bottom. Every person I had contact with, and there were many, was very well informed. The most impressive aspect of this practice is the friendly, caring, knowledgeable staff. Every question was answered. My comfort was the top priority. The outcome is amazing. I went from 20/70 to 20/20 vision. I no longer need glasses except for reading in some light conditions. I can see the instrument cluster on the car again.
Fear! Many year's of agony and the stress is unbelievable that a single person can put themselves through. But my eyes are my eyes. Words can not express my gratitude. Dr. Shoemaker and all staff members at Center for sight where very professional, straight forward, and handled my fear with allowing me to keep my dignity intact. This enabled me to proceed with both eyes having Advanced cataract surgery.
