The title says most about the outcome of my first cataract surgery: the world is so much clearer through my "operative" eye! It was a series of miracles that led me to Dr Shoemaker, little of which I could control but all along the way it happened. I was operated on on Wed. June 1st and Wed. June 8th and I am so satisfied with the performance so far. The colors are so much brighter than they were before the operation and I'm seeing without my glasses for the first time since I was in my forties, I'm 74. I still need reading glasses but they said I would before the operation but I'm using "Cheaters".
