The title says most about the outcome of my first cataract surgery: the world is so much clearer through my "operative" eye! It was a series of miracles that led me to Dr Shoemaker, little of which I could control but all along the way it happened. Everything kept pointing to not only getting the surgery but specifically with Dr Shoemaker. The surgical team is the best as well & they really are a team! I was operated on on Wed. June 1st and Wed. June 8th and I am so satisfied with the performance so far. The colors are so much brighter than they were before the operation and I'm seeing without my glasses for the first time since I was in my forties, I'm 74. I still need reading glasses but they said I would before the operation but I'm using "Cheaters".
