Pre-procedure, procedure and followup state of the art. Organization was what is expected but some how not seen today in many offices, this office was on top of every step with smooth precision. Speed, department coordination and quality of service for a medical procedure was what one only hopes the industry would strive for.

While the technicians were very competent and friendly, and Dr. Shoemaker proclaimed that my eyes were perfect candidates for their top-level treatment, which promises perfect near and far vision - no glasses needed. Two years out from surgery, I have been needing, and using, reading classes much of the time. I have learned from staff there that lenses are more difficult to accurately insert if the patient (like me) has had LASIX surgery. I am a happy camper. Dr Shoemaker was perfect. His staff treated my eyes and prepped me. Dr Shoemaker sat down, examined my eyes and had a very specific conversation about my eyes. I appreciate his honesty and evaluation. He took time to explain and then answer my questions. I cannot ask for more. Dr Shoemaker has my highest star ranking. He is very,very good. Trust him. You are in good hands.
Everything went right on schedule as promised great staff and very happy to have Dr Shoemaker in my corner.
Like a well oiled machine, my cataract and lens replacement surgery was done on my first eye as planned. Center for Sight has this process optimized along with the information needed after the surgery is completed. I was well informed of what to expect and what to do before, during, and after the procedure. The same procedure is planned in a few days for my other eye. I was amazed at how much brighter everything was with just my one eye done. I am excited to get the other done to see even more improvement in my vision.
Just learning more information about cataracts to determine IF I need surgery The technical personnel before Dr Shoemaker were very helpful especially the lady who did my eye testing at the end. Dr Shoemaker I was told would leave the decision of surgery to me. Not the case, first words out of his mouth were you need surgery now. No discussion or explanation. I had my cataracts treated by Dr. Shoemaker, excellent outcome! I have never seen such vivid colors or such clarity since I was a kid, and that was a while ago. Would recommend the Center for Sight for the very best care.
