Dr. Shoemaker performed custom cataract surgery for both of my eyes. He was informative, professional, and thorough with his information, and his procedure gave me excellent results. I never expected, after 30 years of wearing trifocals, for my vision to be excellent… but it is! If it were possible, I would give Dr. Shoemaker and Center for Sight in Sarasota a 10 star rating!
This was my first visit to this office for a full evaluation for cataract surgery. I encountered several assistants who took various eye measurements and all were very competent and professional. Everything was explained in full detail with various options that I had. Dr Shoemaker examined my eyes and explained his opinion of the best option for my situation. When I left the office, I felt confident that I selected the right physician and a very knowledgeable staff.
The procedures were phenomenal, the results beyond expectations, From check-in to check-out everyone was totally professional and focused on making the patient feel secure and comfortable.
I cannot say enough about the staff and Dr. Shoemaker. I was nervous going in but each and everyone of his staff that did the testing made me feel so at ease. I am thrilled to be having my cataract surgery done by Dr. Schumaker and his staff at the Center for sight.
Scheduled for cataract surgery. The initial examination of my eyes by the staff was very thorough and took approximately 3 hours. They were professional and helpful. It was the best eye examination I ever had and being 80 years young that is a great complement. Looking forward to the surgery.
