Got big bruise and still hurts, do not recommend giving blood in one of their trucks
Well, doesn't anyone have anything nice to say anymore. It had been way to long since the last time I donated. The staff was great and very informative can't wait till I can go give again!!

I have given at this location for many years now and have to say that the experience yesterday was rather ho hum. I felt like I was bothering the staff by coming in to donate even though there were no other people in the place. I tried to carry on conversation with the person doing the intake and basically got the cold shoulder from her. Really made me feel like the donation was not appreciated or needed. The tech that did the blood draw was better but went overboard with the thanking me to the point it no longer felt sincer... read more
I've been giving blood for years. Tried to give platelets but it was a no go. I mostly get great techs but every once in a while I'll get one that just doesn't have the knack of sliding that needle in smoothly. I've seen changes to the center in Hurst and it's not run as efficiently as it use to so there needs to be some improvement there. At the end of the day as long as what I'm donating gives someone life then it's all good.
