I donated blood for the first time in Bedford TX for the hurricane victims. The staff is very nice and very caring but the only thing I experience that the needle hurt when inserting in my arm and I am experience a lot of numbness from my elbow to my hand 24 hours later. And it take long to get the process then taken the blood. But overall good experience 🙃
I love everyone who works there, its like family! Feels good to share life with someone who needs it, good Karma.
Carter always makes me feel welcomed & treasured. Now that I'm having to get transfusions because of chemo side effects, I see the lifesaving gift more clearly!!! Thank you.
Disgusted with Carter Bloodcare. Thought they cared about saving lives. Guess it's more about making money. My son has a rare blood type and they want to charge $110 per unit to store blood for him to use and bill the patient. We've already had to cancel his open heart surgery due to not having AB+ platelets. Red Cross bills the hospital. Unfortunately, Carter has a monopoly in Texas.
