Donating blood is relatively easy to do. Carter Bloodcare staff are kind and efficient. Donation is completed quickly. Then I get cookies.
I have donated for them before and I have never been not allowed because of my disability. Carter Bloodcare needs to begin to understand Narcolepsy symptoms. They stated my Physical Results were great but because I have Narcolepsy I wasn't qualified. If you have a disability I wouldn't recommend.
I believe bloodcare to by basis and stereotypical organization. By law the company is required to test all blood donate d to single out homosexual males as high risk for HIV infection is very judgemental. Men who are honest about their sexual preference should be allowed to donate being that you're required to test the blood anyway. In today's era anyone sexually active is equally at risk for HIV infection.
