Stayed in a lagoon room, great view, beautiful peaceful morning on the deck listeing to the ducks. Rooms are definitely dated but very clean, beautiful location on the water.
My boyfriend and I absolutely love the rustic charm of the Captain Whidbey Inn! We highly recommend eating dinner here as well! The chef is phenomenal and the staff very friendly. Cannot wait for the Valentines dinner this year. Last year the steak and lobster was cooked to perfection as always!
Not compensated appropriately after heater caught on fire. Left 2.5 hours early without a shower. Power was cut off.
We came for our 5th anniversary and everything was just lovely. We stayed in a room in the Lagoon House. The rooms are small and have no TV. Rustic and lovely. A great place to get away. The wifi was blazing fast and we had no problems streaming on our laptop. I could hear people next door when I was in the bathroom but from the main bedroom I couldn't hear our neighbors at all. Loyd and his staff host our writing group every Thursday and the grounds are such an inspiring setting for our imaginations. They take such good care of us and go above and beyond for our comfort!! The chef is also beyond amazing and, as far as taste and quality, his menu is beyond reproach! Any time you can get to The Captain Whidbey Inn, you should!!
Had a wonderful time. Relaxing and stress free. Staff was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
