The buildings/rooms, grounds, and restaurant/bar are charmingly rustic and comfortable, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the views are beautiful.
Staff was over the top nice. Stayed in a cabin. The bed was perfect. Loved having a fireplace. Ate in the restaurant and that also was GREAT! Not overpriced either. All around perfect experience.
We enjoyed our getaway for our 35th wedding anniversary. It was quiet in the cabins and the food and drinks were awesome. It’s rustic and dated but that ads to the charm. Thoroughly enjoy the warm fires in our room!! Just wish the walls in the main lodge could talk!!
Reading posts about the service and amenities of late. I recall years back when the Stone family owned the Inn and service was great, the food good, and the funky bar was busy and so much fun. There were business cards and signed dollar bills stapled all over the place and a small band played on weekends. Long story short, things have really changed.
