Knowledgeable staff / Not your typical jewelry store – Angela is the best gemologist we've ever met - she's knowledgeable and offers great advice. A couple of years ago, on our 25th wedding anniversary, we upgraded my ring set. We worked with Angela to select the stone and the setting and we couldn't be happier. Pleasant Experience – My first stop for an engagement ring was Calvin's Fine Jewelry. I really dislike shopping and the thought of buying an engagement ring was especially stressful, but the people at Calvin's made it an enjoyable experience (Angela, Lindsey, and the security guard). Best Jeweler in Central TX. Quality service and impressive selection. – I actually purchased the engagement ring for my now fiance 2 months ago (I only held off on writing a review until I proposed). Fantastic Jewelry Store!!!!! – I live in Toronto but was planning my wedding in Austin. I had picked out my ring at a Toronto jewelry store that was very hard to deal with. Worst Jeweler – I cannot believe how arrogant the people at this store are. The one girl is so fake that it is so obvious that she is trying to be classy but she is not. She acted like she cared about me but only if I was ready to pay double the price of what other stores charge. They are very overpriced for what you get and they are snobby! Pros-None Cons-Everything!

Excellent service and knowledge – My fiancee and I went to Calvin's to buy an engagement ring and were helped out by Shelby. We had her undivided attention from the moment we went in to the store. We were treated to a glass of mimosa and shown all the rings that we could want. Fabulous custom work done – I had a really nice experience designing and purchasing my redesigned engagement ring at Calvin's. My ring broke and I decided to have my ruby reset in a different setting rather than have the old one soldered. I worked with Catherine to come up with a unique design suited towards me and my unusual taste. She was wonderful: she has a keen sense of style and design and has a charming demeanor.
