Caliber expected me to bring my SUV in for the initial estimate, leave it and wait for them to order parts. I've never heard of a body shop waiting until they have the vehicle to order parts when the vehicle is driveable, especially with today's supply chain interruptions. They have had our company truck for 3 months. For the past 3 weeks have been told it would be ready by end of week. One of our owners went over to the shop and found our truck. It is still totally dismantled. Extremely unsatisfied!
They have very poor communication with the customer. Their turnaround is terrible. They've had my car for over a month for repairing my bumper. They cite Covid as being the reason for all delays but offer no solution. They Offer no reason why they took on the workload if they couldn't get it done in a reasonable time. They keep blaming lack of parts on dealerships which is valid but when asked if they press the dealerships for results they say there's nothing they can do about it. My son was involved in a car accident on October 2, 2021 in Cordova, TN. We contacted the Caliber Collision ************* in Memphis, TN. After speaking with several of the Caliber stores, the one on Mt. Moriah stated that they would be available to begin work on the car the soonest - November 1, 2021. So we waited until then. Caliber Collision returned my car with a new scratch and the passenger side door handle was improperly installed. I've called them numerous times to schedule the needed repair work. They say that they'll fix my car but they never get back to me. I've been waiting for them to make this right for 3 months.
Our F-350 Ford was stolen on June 6th. It was found on June 8th and held at All States yard until June 30th when it was taken to Caliber Collision. 166 days later on Dec 16th the final repair was completed by Caliber Collision. Drivers side door dented in parking lot. Pictures available after contacting insurance. Went to Caliber Collision on S. Federal Way on 10/02/21 told estimated repair time would be 1 to 1 1/2 weeks. We only own one vehicle we make arrangements and left the 2014 Ford Edge at their shop. We were informed after 1 week that replacement came in damaged and that a replacement was on order and it could take a week. I was not going to write a review but I recently found out, other than car parts being loose on the car, they did not install a brake light bulb. I was informed by someone in traffic that my brake light was out so I pulled over and checked and there was no bulb at all ! Very upset because this may cause an accident in the streets. Please consider bringing your vehicle here.
This business lied to me over and over again. They stole property out of my car and gave me a $50 gift certificate as restitution. There were important papers and sentimental arlicles in there that belonged to my deceased mother. They stole shooting targets and they alone cost more than the $50 that was given as restitution.
