Greystar is absolutelty the worst management company ever! I have been trying for months to have them validate money that is alledgeding owed and haven't received anything from them. Not to mentioned *********************** has the worst customer service, ever he can only be reached via email and never by phone. They don't care about the tenants only money. Everything about Greystar is horrible.
The worst place to possibly live! Management is a nightmare! Cheap and poorly built. Dont let the exterior fool you. No security. Gates are always open or broke. Everything in your unit will be broke if not already. I've heard horror stories before, and I am a true believer in the disgust for Greystar. I rented a unit managed by Greystar, and all was well until COVID and mass layoffs. I fell behind on rent for 2 months but caught up before my lease ended. That same year, they had renewal offers for the same price, which I thought was a good idea. My experience as a tenant changed in the second year. I apologize if your move-out charges were not clearly explained to you. In looking at the file and reviewing your ledger, I see you had a security deposit alternative (Jetty) equating to $500. Upon move-out, there was damage (pet damage primarily) to the unit requiring carpet replacement, drywall repairs, patio blinds and baseboard. I used to live in a Greystar managed building called *************** in ******, **. They never returned my deposit, took months to get maintenance to fix basic things, administrators are next to impossible to get a hold of, they dont respond to calls or emails in any sort of timely fashion, and they charged me for utilities over a year after I had moved out. Hands down worst complex in ***** way overpriced. They moved me into a molding apartment. Laundry/dryer/washer always breaking, toilets always flooding, showers always clogging, currently as I type water is coming thru the wall above the window and dripping on me and my bed! Living in the property was fine. Not spectacular, but fine. Now I'm dealing with their corporate office trying to sort out the move out statement they sent 56 days after we moved out of the property. CO law says this needs to be sent within 60 days, so they're off the hook in that regard. However my roommate and I have been calling and emailing them for weeks trying to sort out why we hadn't received a statement. Prices are decent but only in this inflationary economy and only if you get get some discount.The leasing office doesn't take appointments and will hang up on you. Everything is electronic which sometimes means you get things fast but other times means you need your LITERAL BUILDING KEY to work (which is a mandatory lease requirement) and they have no solution (outside that you should have the door app).Need a spare key so a friend can check on your cat? This is the worst company you could rent from I’ve been here for a little while an their has not been anything good They charge you for everything possible then not only that they make you pay rent for your dog an you can’t keep it nor let it go on the patio This place is ran down the managers are focused on the wrong things they should worry about the fights car theft an ect..I dnt recommend anyone to move in these high price ghetto apartments
My experience with the Westside property has been unsettling since the beginning of the lease. I tried to go talk to management and I was treated with hostility in response as I wanted to resolve my issues and questions. The contact info for the regional manager or someone above was denied and hidden. I went to ask why the gate was not functioning properly, and property maintenance was lacking. as my amenity fees and everyone else have been paid consistently.
