We're a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we're happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that's your preference. We've been voted the best seafood in town. We serve hot boiled crawfish and fresh oysters on the half shell when they're in season. Food was very salty, and the prices were kinda high.. service was good and it was clean. Need to remind people when sitting on the deck that smoking is allowed... we didn't know this and got smoked out a lot...
I wanted to say that I was thoroughly impressed at the staff on Saturday, June 24th! We had a 20 top (divided into two tables) and we arrived extra early so they could accommodate us. We had one waitress for all of us and she did an outstanding job. We never had empty drinks and she came by frequently to check on us. The food didn't take an unreasonable time to wait for (considering the crowd on Saturday) and all of it was delicious! Walked in waited 10 min for table, went to restroom where I saw at least 6 empty tables and booths, finally placed in booth for party of 5 so added a chair on end, waited another 10 minutes with no one coming to our table to even take our drinks, other table behind us hadn't seen their waitress for 20 minutes, luckily they did get some food, after quite awhile with no checking on us, we decided to walk out and go else where. I hadn't been to Buzzard Billy's in a few years and was very disappointed with the terrible parking situation, as I had to park in an unlevel gravel lot, as there is little parking close to the building. After waiting about 30 minutes for the table, our waiter was making a dessert at another table, so I finally had to ask if we could order a drink. It was fairly hot throughout the time we were there. Loved the shrimp, but when we went there it was right after fathers day and they seemed to be out of a lot of things...service however was great!

Ate with the family on Saturday, it was a different kind of atmosphere and we loved eating on the patio overlooking the Brazos River and the Bridge. I am glad we ate outside because the inside was so hot and muggy, and smelt really bad! The host in the front had a bad attitude and didn't care to be there, which always makes it awkward considering that's your first impression of the restaurant!
