We're a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we're happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that's your preference. We've been voted the best seafood in town. We serve hot boiled crawfish and fresh oysters on the half shell when they're in season. Great food, great wait staff and great management! Love this place!
The waitress we had was not pleasant or helpful. Food was great so we'll go back & ask for a different waitress.

quit going several years ago because of horrible service and food. Tried it again after hearing it was under new management and it is much better. Food is good and Ellery was very good at serving two big tables at once. Food doesn't come out super fast, but we don't like to be in a hurry anyway. The reason we won't go back is because half the table was blinded by the sun for an hour. We were told everybody complains but management won't put blinds up. We sat in the bar and the service was great the bartender covered the table.
Decent food, could use a little more variety. Nice spot on the river. Good service and nice staff. Some dishes could use more flavor. ���
Our experience at Buzzard Billy's was very enjoyable. The atmosphere was nice, our waiter was very friendly and quick to make sure we had everything we needed, and the food was very good. We will be back.

Eaten at Buzzard Billy's three times in six months, and not sure why we don't think of it more often! Have always had friendly, attentive waitstaff, and river view is hard to beat. New east Brazos Riverwalk will cross right by back deck! Poboys are my lunch fav, but shrimp eggplant pirogue with rice and Cajun corn (masque choux) is my dinner go-to. Husband prefers Cajun chicken dishes or catfish. Platters are loaded...hard to save room for dessert, but they have bananas foster!

Chicken fried steak was horrible, it was burned and greasy. You could tell it wasn't a hand battered cubed steak, it was more of the "compressed" meat patties you get from the freezer section. The gravy was lumpy and luke warm, the hush puppies were burned on the outside but the middles tasted good. For $14 i was horribly disappointed, the steak fingers at dairy queen are better.
