We're a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we're happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that's your preference. We've been voted the best seafood in town. We serve hot boiled crawfish and fresh oysters on the half shell when they're in season. Will not go back. My food was awful so I told them, they did make an effort to give me a another plate and it too was bad. In fact, ended up getting sick.
Our lunch was excellent, service was very good. We plan to go back soon if only for the Swamp Soup.
The atmosphere was great...so was the service. The food....mmmeeeehhhh. I had the gumbo, red beans and rice and grilled blackened chicken. The grilled blacken chicken was the best part. Red beans were cold and very little flavor, the rice tastes rubbery. The gumbo tastes like canned stew. I wouldn't really recommend unless just for the atmosphere.
Went this weekend and was very disappointed! The staff was friendly, but the food was just not what we had hoped for. I understand different areas cook food different but we ended up throwing out a whole table of food. Spend over $50 and the kids wanted Wendy's after we left. What a waste!!
Our meal was exceptional, the service was outstanding!!!!
I liked the experience but the fries were not fresh.

The service is great the food was expensive and rubbery with no seasoning. They claim Cajun food I was expecting Cajun food but it was like long johns silver. The view was great over the bravos river. 😳😳not impressed at all
