VERY friendly staff. Great cafe while you wait. Feels a bit like a factory inside, though. A little too busy, but people are so friendly and nice so I think it's worth it.

I FELT LIKE A CELEBRITY – I was introduced to my stylist Randy, who gave me a consultation. She knew exactly what I wanted, had a great personality, and she made me feel so confortable. I was led upstairs to get my color and highlights. Everyone was very pleasant, I was asked numerous times if I wanted a drinkor somthing to eat. Loved my look. Stopping the Streets Great – Have you ever been stopped in the streets of Manhatten because someone wants to know where you get your hair cut. I have. So unless Bumble is planting people on street corners to give compliments to their customers, the place is great.

Only When It's Free – I went to a model day to get my hair colored. I loved my colorist, I was fairly pleased with my hair -- the only problem is that the woman who did my hair is from a salon in CT. The people who were colorists at Bumble & Bumble were incredibly rude the entire day. To describe the employees as "pretentious" would be an understatement. The hair coloring that they demo-ed was atrocious and uneven. I would go back for a model day, just because the person working on my hair would NOT be an employee of Bumble ... read more

Cool joint – for a chunk of bread, b&b does what it does very well. they take care of your stuff, the wash is nice, there's a cafe well-placed to check everyone out while you wait, and they competently execute a b&b cut on you. the b&b razor-cut trip is not for everyone -- I can only say that as a guy with long hair who has to look tidy (square) at work but doesn't want to look that way outside of work, they got me right each time. hair factory – Although i don't B&B a 1 rating - it's close. Talk about an ant hill of stylists and assistants. It was mayhem. They treat you like you are supposed to know where to go (it was my first time - sorry I don't know where to change!). I do not like using a razor on my hair. period. I expalined this, she insisted the other three poeople who razored my hair didn't know what they were doing. So yet, again my hair looks like a Q-Tip. Another $125 down the drain!!!!! Curls galore – Marcie is the best! Wonderful cut. She really listens to what you want and carries through unlike many. Style still good 3 weeks later and I expect it to last. Lovely experience. My first time there and I was shown around and everyone was very pleasant.

B&B rocks – Coby is the best ever! She always gives me a cut I love and my hair looks great after months, which means I don't have to spend a lot of money too frequently. I'm pretty shocked by the bad reviews of Bumble & Bumble. I started going about 2 years ago after I got a horrible cut and decided to splurge so someone could fix it. I would never go anywhere else.
