The tavern that rose from two fires to be the oldest restaurant in all of the town, is worth going to see based on History alone. The food, too, is a delicious range of traditional, home-cooked fare, made from scratch. The buffet menu offers a different variety of dishes each day and the numerous pies for dessert are a truly mouthwatering end to the meal. There is an event hall that seats up to 150 people. You can also pick up a couple of souvenirs to remember the trip from the small shop before you leave.

RecommendedBloody Mary's were wonderful, the broiled pike was moist and flavorful. salad bar was great! highly recommend, and the views by the restaurant were breathtaking!

friendly bartenders and great food
surprised them with 18 riders on a Saturday. The buffet was very good and hot and the salad bar was cold and fresh. I've been here twice as it's a long drive and was very pleased both times!
We haven’t been to Breitbach’s since it was rebuilt. The restaurant is spacious, well-arranged for the buffet, and extremely comfortable. The outside is lovely with beautiful hanging planters and gardens. The service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the Friday buffet which primarily contained fish and seafood. The only change I would make is to eliminate the beef gravy and mashed potatoes, replacing it with either au gratin or scalloped potatoes. The salad bar was excellent as was the soup.
