The tavern that rose from two fires to be the oldest restaurant in all of the town, is worth going to see based on History alone. The food, too, is a delicious range of traditional, home-cooked fare, made from scratch. The buffet menu offers a different variety of dishes each day and the numerous pies for dessert are a truly mouthwatering end to the meal. There is an event hall that seats up to 150 people. You can also pick up a couple of souvenirs to remember the trip from the small shop before you leave.

Hands down one of two of the best breakfast dining experiences I've ever had (the beasts castle at Disney being the other one). The owner, Mike, personally took care of us the entire time even though he said we would be getting a different waiter. He even sat to visit with us on a couple occassions.
