The tavern that rose from two fires to be the oldest restaurant in all of the town, is worth going to see based on History alone. The food, too, is a delicious range of traditional, home-cooked fare, made from scratch. The buffet menu offers a different variety of dishes each day and the numerous pies for dessert are a truly mouthwatering end to the meal. There is an event hall that seats up to 150 people. You can also pick up a couple of souvenirs to remember the trip from the small shop before you leave.

RecommendedCasual, fun, great ambiance and food.
We love the buffet, broasted chicken and Cod ws wonderful. Also love their pea salad and breaded shrimp. They have a good selection of beers on tap. We love the atmosphere there, everyone so friendly and helpful. We go there every October to enjoy the fall color and fine dining.
Best buffet. Servers are courteous and very concerned that you are satisfied. Owner is very friendly.
Wonderful as usual. Very attentive staff, service was on point. Food was excellent, and the pie was FANTASTIC!!!

Staff is very friendly and the owner is really friendly. He’ll talk to you like he’s known you for years... Very nice place to eat and it gets very busy on the weekends.
