ER: Worst disorganized cluster I have sadly had to experience with a loved one TWICE now. No one communicates or seems to have answers.. constantly given half truths or mis information. It seems to be the way the facility is run, procedures, protocol, how information is shared.. its a huge disappointment to see what COULD be a good place, with caring nurses and doctors leave you wishing you had decided to go a little further to a different hospital- next time we will definitely choose a different hospital!!
This hospital is amazing and the staff are the most nicest people I ever met!
Had my baby there April 21st. My nurses were awesome. The doc on call was very patient with me. After I was moved to the mommy suit I was happy to find out Brandon is not a baby friendly hospital that pushes breast feeding on mother's and no nursery. They asked breast or formula and braught me formula. They insisted on taking baby to nursery so I could sleep. Over all my best delivery experience. (I have had 5 kids.)
After two very bad experiences at Brandon emergency care I had awesome care at the day surgery center. From getting basic directions to pre-registration, from admitting to discharge, there were great people at every experience. Thanks for changing my perception of Brandon Hospital.
I've been here a few days now and I must say the staff has been amazing all the way from the nurses to the doctors. They are very compassionate and caring. My nurse Jessica on the fourth floor has been super great she constantly checks on me to see how my pain is doing always trying find a way to help. When you ask her for some thing she is pleased to do it not like some nurses at other hospitals who get bothered easy. I am very honored to have had her as a nurse. Had me and my sister waiting in the waiting room for 2hours when we came down from Labor and delivery .
This hospital is a joke. They truly need to shut it's doors. My first really bad experience was 2006 when I went in having breathing issues. The Er doctor told me I had lung cancer and when I went to the lung doctor he couldn't say if I did or didn't so I had the surgery which was very painful having my upper right lobe removed. I was lucky it was not cancer. Then last night went in because I have really bad psoriasis and can not walk or really use my hands.
