I have purchased lifetime warranty alignments from brake check for over 10 years on various vehicles. I had front end work done by a certified mechanic outside of brake check. Then had brake check replace my inner and outer tie rods. The alignment still not properly done after they worked on the truck. I purchased new tires and took back to them for another alignment. They voided my lifetime warrant stating they did not do front end work so it voided the warranty. They happily took my 350 dollars to do the tie rods. They jus... read more

I went to Brake Check **** ******* ** **** in ********. I had an appointment for 8:30. I told them I wanted only back brakes to be done and oil change. After the young man finish the oil change, he went and got a ladder and a flash light, looking at my truck. I thought that was odd. They took all my new tires off my truck and told me what I need. I would not recommend brake in ******** ***** they are beyond the worst place ever i took my car in cause my brakes went all the way to the floor they said i needed rotors and pads they did not say i needed to bleed the brakes i took it back and they said i needed to bleed the brakes so they wanted more money after charging me 336 he said you dont have to bleed them the brakes will still work i asked him to get in car so he could see for himself but he didnt so i went home and i needed to go to the store five minutes from my... read more
BEWARE! My experience with Brake Check in ******, Texas was not only an example of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, but they actually caused DAMAGE and refused to pay for it, instead filing a claim with MY insurance company. Sounds unbelievable I know, but it is true. I would warn everyone to think twice before taking your vehicle here. I called Brake Check in Tomball and asked for a price for putting new brake pads on my car. Front and Rear. They gave me a bid of $126.00 plus tax. I had been giving this Brake Check my business since 1995. I made a appointment to have the work done. Upon completion of the job I went to pay and the bill was $340.00. Of course it immediately created a financial hardship on me and I did not have the funds to pay. 7 months ago I had a complete brake job at Brake Check. For the past few weeks there is vibration when I brake, it is getting worse. I went to Brake Check and was told I need my rotors turned which will cost $60 for front rotors. I complained about the poor quality of their material and I should not have to pay for turning the rotors. Of course, once rotors are turned they are thinner and will need turning sooner. Store #545- Manager - Sam-I have been coming to this brake check since I brought my car in August of 2018. Today I sent my daughter to get me an oil change and the MANGER SAM says that BRAKE CHECK has been putting the wrong oil in my car all this time and do I want to start using the correct oil? So you mean to tell me that your company has been putting the wrong oil in my car all this time he told me yes. And proceeds to tell me that I am going to have engine trouble later. What the ****? I will never go there again!!
I brought my Jeep to this location two weeks ago for a squeaking sound. They told me I needed to have my rotors resurfaced and get an alignment. I do so. Two weeks later I'm hearing the same sound and the alignment doesn't feel quite right. He comes back tell me that now I need to have my brand new brake pads changed to match the rotors since they were resurfaced two weeks ago. No one ever mentioned that two weeks ago. Do not go here to get an oil change. This place ruined my car. They didn’t replace the oil in my car. Now my engine is ruined and have to sell my car!!! Bad business!!!
