Brake Check ********** put big sign "FREE alignment check" and "we do alignment and brake RIGHT". I went there for checking alignment, 30 minutes waiting from the scheduled time.. Once finished, they charged me with the excuse they went ahead fix the alignment WITHOUT even show me the result or ask whether I want to do alignment or not after they checked the alignment. Brakes still screwed up, brake light doesnt turn off for the second time. Suspension fell off on the way to the grocery store!!! UNSAFE. Could cost you your life! Unbelievable.

Brake Check - Fire in Tire Well Within a few miles after service work was completed at Brake Check on I-45, a fire broke out in the front tire wheel. Thankfully, an individual that happened to be an ex-Brake Check employee working at a local mechanic shop was able to put out the fire and knew exactly how to fix the problem. Brake Check takes no responsibility!
Went to Brake Check in ****** on 12/10/22 for pads and rotor resurfacing, costing $518. I had to take my car back to them on 12/16/22 due to a grinding noise on the driver's side wheels. They advised that noise was just the new brake pads being "broken in," and that the noise would go away over the next week or two. Monday, November 14, 2022 - Brake Check ***********************************************: Heard grinding that morning so pulled into BC to get brakes checked. As suspected the pads were shot on the rear. The back rotors also were shot - deep ****** on the inside. Horrible service, I went to have my brake pads and rotors changed at this place at the end of August and I dont believe they changed my brake pads or rotors although they said they did twice! If they changed them the first time I went in, why change them a second time? After taking my car here for service my brakes sound HORRIBLE very loud squealing, squeaking and grinding horribly. Last year in 2021 around November, the ***** light came on in my 2009 **** Escape. I took it to brake check to see if they can diagnose the problem. They called me & told me that the front brakes on my car were bad and needed to be replaced and it was a huge safety issue.
