I have been managing my gum disease for over 13 years. I am new to your practice so I understand the non-familiarity of me and my history, but I felt like I the explanations of gum disease and care was explained in a elementary way that was below my knowledge level. I also brought in products that I have found and use to help maintain healthy gums and they were written down and mentioned that "i'm sure they don't make it worse". the whole team is great and helpful -they took time to explain all steps especially during the procedure...Joanne and Dr Cole specifically. Front line staff are helpful as well. Really a friendly and professional team.

I understood that the dentist would look at my x-ray and let me know about any problems before I left and so when I was told everything was finished I assumed everything was OK. I was surprised to hear from the office that Dr. Horrocks was concerned about something on my x-ray and wanted me to come in. Information since you asked, not a criticism.

I was startled by how large the bill was for a half-hour consultation. $178 seemed excessive.

The original consultation I had with Dr. Cole, and the first cleaning I experienced from another hygienist, left me feeling that I would receive wonderful care at Boulder Periodontics, and confident that my periodontal disease could be managed. Now, I am not so sure. If I do decide to return to Boulder Periodontics for future care, I would never submit to another cleaning from the hygienist that I saw last Thursday.
