I have been so blessed this stay in the hospital this time i have great Doctors aND the nurses and PCAs have been so friendly and caring towards me. They have taken time to help me and just to talk to help me take my mind off the pain.
The staff was wonderful, they made my dad's stay much nicer than it could have been. The nurse's went above and beyond.
Borgess is Currently taking care of my father. Great care. I am so thankful for everyone on his team. I have also had a baby there. My third. By far the best hospital I have ever given birth in. They took very good care of my son and awesome care of me. Keep it up Borgess! The only bad thing about the place is the price of a meal for family. There was a family next to my father that hadn't ate in days because they were transported far from Home so the man's life could be saved. Unfortunatly, they had no money to buy food so ... read more
My mum had an outpatient procedure& Borgess was very accommodating. Have loved this hospital for 22 years.
My aunt came in with an infected foot. She is diabetic. The first Dr's that seen her mri said they would have to take it off below the calve. The Dr that she seen there talked to us and told us he wanted to only take half her foot. This giving her the opportunity to live on her own. Had they taken the whole foot she would have to go to a facility. He was genuinely concerned about her way of life. I also should mention my aunt is mentally handicapped and of the larger size. When I first got there to outpatient surgery the nurses and everyone were very polite and helpful. When I was in recovery the nurses were very rude to my family.
Worst ER in the history of hospitals. My girlfriend had to have 2 emergeny surgeries and we are back here again. Took an hour just to get something for pain. Seen a intern once we got hete and they ordered a ultrasound and its been 2 hours and still waiting. No one has checked in on her in an hour and half. If she died they wouldn't even know. LOOKING FOR CARE? BORGESS HOSPITAL IS NOT THE HOSPITAL TO GO TO. IF IT WAS THE ONLY HOSPITAL IN MI. I WOULD TAKE MY CHANCES AND GO TO A DIFFERENT STATE! 4TH FLOOR NURSES IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR JOB LEAVE!
Took over an hour to be seen.
