We all had a great dinner during restaurant week at Borgata.
So, when business in Atlantic City is down, this is how you make up for lost revenue? By pulling what amounts to a street-corner shell-game con with the price of a bottle of wine? Shame on you, and shame on the Borgata for allowing this to go on in their hotel. If you had any decency (which you obviously don't) you would take that so-called server's last wages to offset whatever part of the cost of the bottle that it could, and show her ass the door. Just read the story of the poor guy that got stuck with the bill of the expensive wine, What a shame, love this place and dined there several times when I was in AC, never again!!! Refund this customer his money and I would definitely go back...
You should be ashamed of yourselves for not educating your waitstaff and your guests. Hope it was worth the bad PR.
Please fire the waitress who tried to sell a $3750 bottle of wine as $37.50, and give a full refund to the customer. Bobby Flay can afford to do that.
